Anna Patterson | CEO and Lead Agent

Before becoming an agent, Anna trained and worked as an actress. She graduated from ALRA with a BA (Hons) in Acting in 2014 and worked extensively as a stage performer, taking on extremely challenging roles such as Jodie in Can’t Stand up for Falling Down, Ensemble in 4:48 Psychosis, Inez in No Exit, Claire in The Maids, May in Footfalls and Woman in Rockaby. Anna’s film work includes The Iron Lady, Gobstoppers and the shorts Retread and Gone Unnoticed.

 

Anna is co-founder and the administrator of Angel Theatre Company.

 

Prior to launching Green Room Personal Management, Anna worked as an agent at Arena Personal Management.

John Patterson | Agent, Advisor and Industry Support Provider

John graduated from the University of Hull with a BA (Hons) in drama before training at Post Graduate level as an actor at ALRA. He also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich. He has worked extensively in the industry for 28 years both as an actor and director. Recent acting credits include: The Intern (Channel 4), New Tricks (BBC), Murder on the Home Front (ITV), adverts for Bid TV, Netflix, Cineworld (Christmas advert 2019) and Schweppes (for Israeli television). From September 2024, John will be appearing in The National Theatre production of The Lehman Trilogy, directed by Sam Mendes, at The Gillian Lynne Theatre in London's West End.

 

In addition to acting, John is an experienced director and co-founder/Artistic Director of Angel Theatre Company. Throughout his career he has cast and directed over 70 productions. Recent credits include: Can't Stand up for Falling Down (New Wimbledon Studio Theatre), Eavesdropping, More Eavesdropping, 4:48 Psychosis, No Exit, The Maids, Autobahn, Eavesdropping Again (all at Barons Court Theatre), Footfalls, Play, Not I, Catastrophe, Rockaby and Another Eavesdropping (all at The Jack Studio Theatre), Stray and Forsaking Others (both at the White Bear Theatre) and Innocence (The Bread & Roses). In 2020, John received an OffWestEnd Theatre Award nomination for Best Director for his work on Not I, Catastrophe and Rockaby.

 

John has taught, mentored and nurtured many successful actors, including BAFTA winner and Academy Award nominee Vanessa Kirby and the late film legend, Ingrid Pitt. He gives regular masterclasses to actors which have recently been delivered at ALRA, Arts Ed, Italia Conti, Drama Studio London, Royal Holloway University of London, University of Sussex and The Royal Ballet School. In February 2021 John gave a seminar titled 'Samuel Beckett - From Page to Stage' to students studying for their PhD at Cambridge University. He is currently a mentor to final year students with an interest in acting at The English National Ballet School and The Royal Ballet School.

 

As a playwright, John’s credits include Forsaking Others (2020) and Innocence (2021).

 

John has worked in a freelance capacity as a Casting Director for Chris Snode Casting on and off for over 25 years.
